The Story Behind The Course
The Mind Alchemy course has really been 20 years in the making. When I was about 20 years old I woke up in hospital after being unconscious for around 3 days and knew that I wanted to change my life. I wasn’t comfortable with myself at all, and I felt as if the jacket of life did not fit me. Life seemed to be happening to other people but mine wasn’t going the way I thought it would. Well, after waking up in hospital one dayI knew what I had to do. I looked at everything that was making me unhappy in life and decided to change it: my friends (drinking buddies), my job, and my location. That might sound as if I was running away, however I looked hard at my life and these were the three main contributing factors to my unhappiness.
I was declared bankrupt after playing the stockmarket and going from having £50,000 in my savings account to owing over £60,000. How do you pick yourself up after something like that? With a new found belief in myself I looked at that as a huge lesson in life, and it certainly taught me a lot.
I then went to university and gained a degree in Psychology, something I would never have believed only a few years earlier, I married the woman of my dreams, have two amazing sons, bought the house of our dreams and have a great family life with lots of love and support, and have a great job helping others with addiction issues.
I had to really work on my inner beliefs, look at my thoughts, and start deciding what I really wanted in life. It’s taken me 20 years to get to this stage and I have mapped out, and updated, everything I have learned to help me change as a person, and now I’m coaching others on how to turn their lives around – how amazing is that!
So, the course comes from everything I have learned and have been passing on to others since 2006, when I started the blog.
